Kinetic energy is given by, KE = 1/2mv2
Where ‘m’ is the mass, ‘v’ is the velocity.
Case1:
Given m=900kg, v=30m/s
(KE) 1= 0.5*900*302=405000Joules
Case2:
Given m=1800kg,v=30m/s
(KE) 2= 0.5*1800*302=810000Joules
Therefore, (KE) 2
= 2(KE) 1
